Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS30
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS30 ($399.99 direct) is a compact camera that manages to squeeze a 20x zoom lens into a pocketable form factor. The 18-megapixel shooter is sturdily built and boasts a sharp touch screen and built-in Wi-Fi to transfer photos to your phone.

Great zoom in such a small package.
This camera is so easy to use and yet has some sophisticated features such as "hand-held night shot" and GPS locator. The only thing I miss is a view-finder, but you're not going to get that with such a small camera. And, it's so easy to charge the battery, too.

"Great camera but with average picture quality"
This is a light weight 18.1 megapixels, best travel camera with powerful 20x optical zoom lens in a very slim body, which will fit in your hands perfectly. The HD video recording is the best bet on this camera with 1920 x 1080 50p Full HD Video Recording.
Pros:
- Almost a Hi-end Camera
Cons:
- Picture quality is not extraordinary

20 X zoom, the size and reliable auto mode make it a great camera for her.
My wife uses it, more and more feature on each new model, now I have to learn about these appealing features and explain, like GPS tagging, or NFC. I'm used to images from larger sensor camera and I can see the picture quality difference.

So far I have been very pleased with this camera it is simple to use and takes great close up shots as well as distance shots with the intelligent zoom we have managed to take shots of things we can not make out with the naked eye, this takes a very steady hand though.

- Good Sized Screen
- Easy To Use
- Fast Shutter Speed
- Excellent In Low Light
- Nice Features and Settings
- Good Battery Life
- Great Resolution,

My wife wanted a new camera before we went on an overseas trip late last year. She knew exactly what she wanted. It had to be compact, white, have a grip and a reasonably long telephoto. Image quality was not a consideration! This camera gets pretty good reviews.

Best & lightest travel zoom
I always loved lumix. They are the king of cameras like iPad in tablets and Nokia in phones. Even though they don't advertise, the are amazing manufacurers. Actually I was wishing to buy Lumix FZ200 which is superb in all aspects but since it was much heavier, 600g I searched other like Canon sx50...

The basics Who needs a camcorder when you can use a compact camera that takes great stills too? That's the question Jason and Rachel are asking this week, and the Panasonic TZ40 is the latest gadget submitted into evidence for their argument.
