Panasonic Lumix TZ30 review

The 14.1 megapixel, 20x optical zoom Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 is the best point and shoot camera it offers in terms of striking the right balance between feature set and performance, before you start stepping up to the likes of the premium-end Panasonic Lumix LX5 and its replacement, or indeed one...
Pros:
  • Manual and auto controls
  • Compact but comfy grip
  • Packed with features
Cons:
  • Small function icons on screen
  • Quite pricey
  • Not a huge step-up from TZ20

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30: Trigger happy.

PRICE **** The camera is a very reasonable £230.00 isn (depending on where you get the camera from) though I would usually not pay this amount for a camera, it was a present to me and I'm very glad I got it as it is worth every penny.

  • great outdoor/low light visibility
  • Built-in GPS with landmark database and maps
  • Good collection of...
Cons:
  • While improved over the ZS10, photos still have too much noise, even at ISO 100, Tends to clip highlights, Strong redeye

Panasonic Lumix TZ30

A small digital camera from a company that does a whole raft of electrical items which naturally include cameras. This is perhaps one of their smallest as they also do a range of DSLR units apart from the pocket Lumix range.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 review

Panasonic's flagship TZ camera series has always been about squeezing a big zoom into a small body. And the Panasonic TZ30 pushes the boat out. Last year's Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ20 featured a 16x zoom and a four step increase over the 12x zoom in the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 .
