Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 Digital Camera Review
Approaching the top end of the compact camera range the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 is considered to be a feature laden travel camera and from reading the specifications sheet it certainly fills that description boasting a touch screen, GPS geotagging, 3D shooting capability and a hefty 20X zoom lens...

Panasonic Lumix TZ30
A small digital camera from a company that does a whole raft of electrical items which naturally include cameras. This is perhaps one of their smallest as they also do a range of DSLR units apart from the pocket Lumix range.

Panasonic's flagship TZ camera series has always been about squeezing a big zoom into a small body. And the Panasonic TZ30 pushes the boat out.

A LOVELY CAMERA!
Quite a competitive price from Very and I also took advantage of the 'cash back' offer from Panasonic. I bought this to replace my TZ8 which was working fine but I fell over and marked it and that was the end for me; my things have to be perfect!
Pros:
- Easy To Use
- Good Ergonomics
- Good Sized Screen
Cons:
- Low-Quality Pictures

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30
The green GPS light keeps flashing all night even when the camera is switched off. Do you really expect me to go into the setup menue everytime I switch it on /off to deal with Gps settings?

Panasonic Lumix TZ30 review
The 14.1 megapixel, 20x optical zoom Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 is the best point and shoot camera it offers in terms of striking the right balance between feature set and performance, before you start stepping up to the likes of the premium-end Panasonic Lumix LX5 and its replacement, or indeed one...
Pros:
- Manual and auto controls
- Compact but comfy grip
- Packed with features
Cons:
- Small function icons on screen
- Quite pricey
- Not a huge step-up from TZ20

I knew things must have moved on since buying my first digital camera - although 4 Megapixels seemed amazing at the time. But I hadn't realised they'd moved on this much. This amazingly compact camera is easy to use and, crucially, takes great looking pictures.
