Terrific camera if you only use one

Wonderful performance, both still and video, in a camera that is easy to take everywhere. Pluses: - I wanted a camera with excellent low light performance for travel because of all the scenic shots in dark buildings or night scenes, and this camera delivers.

Compact; Durable; Exceeded expectations; Convenient; great image quality and performance; looks and feels more expensive that it is

nice to be able to recharge with the battery in

Over the top! Enlarge the pictures they only get better!

The LX7K is over the top! The lens is better then the camera. The bigger the picture the better. The only bad point is that the LX7K is fragile. It could get sand fog and water in it. Buy a camera case for it.

Great Compact Camera

A premium compact with excellent image quality & control. Ease of use could be improved though:- No touch screen (so no touch focus), no articulated lcd, no built-in view-finder, no remote. GPS, Wi-Fi and a microphone input would be welcome, too.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7 review

If you've not yet been swayed by one of Panasonic's interchangeable lens Lumix G compact system cameras, but would still like to achieve improved quality image, then the metal construction and comprehensively featured LX series is well worth checking out.

Relatively lightweight and compact dimensions for a metal build enthusiasts' camera; bright aperture lens; built-in visual effects; hotshoe and accessory port for attachment of optional extras; such as an EVF

Fixed screen LCD; priced not a great deal cheaper than one of Panasonic's interchangeable lens G-series compacts system cameras

From macro and shallow depth of field shots to playing around with the art filters and 1080p video, there's nothing the LX7 doesn't do well. Tons of manual controls and fantastic image quality make this a trusty second camera.

Very happy. But then i'm not a camera pro so the techie bits (whether good or bad) don't concern me too much. Very happy with the quality of the photos. Panoramic mode, though, is rubbish. Utter rubbish. Doesn't work. But i just use my iPhone for those so no bother there either.
