The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7 has a lot of features and offers superb image quality. It is perfect for seasoned veterans as well as first time camera owners. This device delivers a maximum aperture range of F1.4 - F2.3. It provides more light than you would get with a compact camera. The fast aperture range delivers improved background blurring. Plus, the image processor has been improved. This camera comes with a battery charger and is HD compatible.

There are other features such as an LCD display, a manual aperture ring, neutral density filter, HDR capability, and it can record movies with stereo sound.

Anyone looking for a lightweight camera will be fond of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7. It weighs 1.4 pounds, which means that it is easy to carry with you on a hike or on an all-day adventure. There is a lot to like about the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7.

Many people are fond of this camera because it is compact and easily fits in your hand. On top of that it delivers excellent photos, come rain, snow, or sun. It isn't bulky, which makes it great for taking photos of birds and wildlife. This is one camera that outdoor types gravitate towards.

Another excellent feature is the high powered lens. It delivers excellent shots in the forest and jungle that are not blurred. Enjoy excellent photos, when out exploring the world.

The manual is easy to read and will help you learn more about the excellent new features. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7 offers a lot of outstanding improvements. Another feature is raw. It is perfect for dramatic lighting and for when scenes call for extra lighting.

An added feature is bracketing. Many outdoor shoots have a lot of contrast. Exposure bracketed shots help resolve this issue. Another feature is Auto Pano. The Lumix DMC-LX7 is perfect for taking panorama shots.

The exterior of this camera looks great. This camera looks perfect the moment you take it out of the box. It will exceed your wildest expectations. Enjoy using it the next time you go on vacation. Don't wait any longer to purchase it.

From macro and shallow depth of field shots to playing around with the art filters and 1080p video, there's nothing the LX7 doesn't do well. Tons of manual controls and fantastic image quality make this a trusty second camera.

Panasonic Lumix LX7 review

Interchangable lens compact system cameras may offer a more portable option than a DSLR, but unless you're using a relatively flat pancake lens, they're still considerably bulkier than a digital compact camera.

Over the top! Enlarge the pictures they only get better!

The LX7K is over the top! The lens is better then the camera. The bigger the picture the better. The only bad point is that the LX7K is fragile. It could get sand fog and water in it. Buy a camera case for it.

LX7... you'll surely LOVE it!

This camera just amazed me. I used this a week ago when the family went to Disneyland. The pictures and videos were terrific. I decided not to use my DSLR for LX7 and I was never disappointed. When I get back home to check my pictures and videos... it was just WOW!
Pros:
  • clear monitor
  • Sharp images
  • The best of its kind

Pros:
  • Exceptionally great image quality

Lumix LX7

I took a long while picking this out. Weeks maybe. Only the Sony RX100 seemed to be better at this size but it was far more costly. Leica sells almost the same camera but again, for much more cost. This seemed like a good mix for my needs of size, quality and cost.
Pros:
  • !.4 Leica lens is a step above the rest, for this price point of camera
  • Its super small size was its main selling point for me
  • The LX7 has an outstanding LCD that is easy to see.
Cons:
  • LCD is not articulating but is large and has almost a Million pixels
  • The EVF is sold separately and is quite expensive but would make it larger
  • ISO over 100 seems noisy to me but I am super picky about that and I don't think that's unusual, for this size of sensor.

Low light performace in a (baggy) pocket camera

As an intermediate photographer the LX7 complements my TZ30. Operating systems are similar so it's fairly easy to flip between them although I'm still exploring the extended LX7 features.
Pros:
  • Easy to use
  • Compact
  • Build quality
  • Battery life
  • Screen size
