great ergonomics, buttons and grip feel solid

What a camera. Bought for filming 4k video. Simple interface, great ergonomics, buttons and grip feel solid. Lots of menus and options for customisation. So many professional grade settings to play around with. Dual memory card slot is a bonus.

amazing for video.

This camera has quickly become one of my favourites. Rekindled my passion to shoot video. a couple of little annoying issues as with any camera but there are many more pros than cons. PROS 4k60, 10bit, 1080 up to 180fps, dual record, unlimited record.

Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5

If video is your primary focus, the Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 delivers the highest quality and feature set you can find in a camera in this price range. Still shooters invested in the Micro Four Thirds system shouldn't discount it either.

Superlative video; Strong image quality; In-body stabilization; 10.3fps Raw capture; 4K and 6K photo modes; Sturdy all-weather build; Dual UHS-II card slots; Vari-angle touch LCD; EVF; Wi-Fi

Focus tracking slows shooting rate; Pricey for stills-first shooters; Omits built-in flash

Panasonic GH5

The Panasonic GH5 is a wonderful successor to an already great hybrid still & video camera. Sporting a new 20MP sensor, faster processor, a very deep buffer, dual UHS-II SD slots, 4K video up to 60p, 10-bit internal video recording, 6K Photo mode and much more, the Panasonic GH5 is well-deserving of...

20MP sensor; Better per-pixel sharpness; Very good, slightly improved dynamic range and high ISOs; Stellar 4K video up to 60p with no crop; 6K Photo; Dual UHS-II SD slots; Good battery life for its class, New 20-megapixel sensor offers noticeably higher resolution than predecessor, Better per-pixel...

Buffer is deep, but slow to clear; Expensive; Menus still confusing; No optical low-pass filter means greater risk of moire; No built-in flash, Stills susceptible to moiré and other aliasing artifacts due to lack of OLPF, No high-res composite mode, Buffer clearing could be faster, No built-in...

Panasonic Lumix GH5 Mirrorless Camera Review

The Lumix GH5 is the new flagship camera of Panasonic's Micro Four Thirds lineup and the much-anticipated follow-up to the GH4 from 2014. The Panasonic GH5 features a new 20MP sensor that doesn't use a low-pass filter; it also has a new image processor, dubbed "Venus Engine."

Panasonic Lumix GH5 review

The Lumix GH5 is Panasonic's most powerful mirrorless camera to date and a worthy successor to the GH4, whether you're shooting stills or movies. It's fast, flexible and feature-packed, easily taking-on rivals in this category and out-performing virtually anything at its price for video.

Let's stipulate up front that video is what's driving most of the interest in the GH5.It's packed with video features, several of which we've never seen on a stills camera before. But don't assume the GH5 is only about video.

No single company has pushed 4K video like Panasonic. Its GH series has represented the best blend of sharp photos and pro-grade video in a single package.

Panasonic's Lumix GH5 is a very thorough and exciting upgrade from the wildly popular GH4 micro 4/3rds camera. A prosumer-grade video rig in disguise as a stills shooter, it takes some of the most stunning and detailed video footage we've ever worked with, and packs in a dizzying array of features.
