Still getting to know the camera, but have done a couple of good HD videos with it. Great that it has F2.8 through entire zoom range. One of the reasons I chose this model is because I use DXO raw image converter for my DSLR and it has a module for this camera.

The FZ200 was - for me - like meeting an old friend after so many years. He has evolved in those years and now he is somewhat more of an adult. There are some things still where you have to say that he still can grow but overall, he's a much better man.

Panasonic Lumix FZ200 Review

While a large optical zoom used to be enough to mark out a bridge camera, the proliferation of such technology now means that manufacturers are having to do more to make their model's stand out.
Pros:
  • Contact maximum aperture of f/2.8 is a real welcome feature
  • excellent build quality
  • good handling
  • solid image quality
Cons:
  • Lack of an eye sensor on the viewfinder
  • viewfinder itself could do with being larger
  • LCD screen not the highest resolution

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 was our favourite ultra-zoom camera of 2011, but this year's FZ200 ups the stakes yet again. It keeps its predecessor's relatively modest 24x zoom but now maintains an f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range.
