Exceeds my expectations in ALL categories

Too often the hype exceeds the delivered product. Not in this case! The GH5 feels right in all of my uses whether photos or video. I had originally planned to put it in the air under my DJI M600P, but am rethinking that more because I enjoy using it on the ground so much.

Easy to use; Exceeded expectations; well balanced

Great camera with a few shortcomings...

I am a long term Lumix user, having had various G series cameras, and now the GH5. I love everything about it apart from that it does not perform well at all in low light. There are various minor functions I would love to see too. They are : - Less 'clicky' loud buttons.

Easy To Use; Nice Features and Settings; Rugged

Inaccurate Colours; Not Good In Low Light; Screen Too Small

Great price, super fast shipping, great product

Great product, excellent shipping. I ordered on a Thursday afternoon just before 1pm, it was on my door at 9am on Friday. Anyone looking at this product already knows what the GH5 is. It's a great camera,. The Leica 12-60 is a great lens. Although I prefer fixed apature lenses,.

Panasonic Lumix GH5 review

The GH5’s only weakness (and it’s a fairly minor one) is its middling performance in low light situations. In all other respects – build quality, control layout, autofocus, usability and image quality – it’s a fantastic camera, and enthusiasts who prize creative control and flexibility will adore it. It’s certainly not cheap, but cutting edge cameras rarely are – and this is most definitely a cutting edge camera. Pre-order the Lumix GH5 here from Panasonic

Smooth, stable 60fps 4K video; Tons of controls; Huge OLED viewfinder; Weatherproof build;

Not the greatest low light performer;

Panasonic GH5 : The ultimate hybrid video and stills camera

Packed with professional features, the Panasonic GH5 is the new standard bearer for indie filmmakers.

Outstanding video quality; Pro-level video features; Superb ergonomics for photos and video;

New features will be beyond some users’ needs; Photo noise levels slightly higher than from direct competitors; More expensive than the GH4;

Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 review

While the Panasonic GH5 is a very good capable stills camera, its real strength lies in its video capabilities. It offers videographers the kind of specification and video quality that is normally only made possible by a much larger, more expensive cinematic camera.

Extensive video specification, High-quality stills and video, High-quality EVF and vari-angle touch-screen

AF system not up to shooting sport, V-Log modes are an extra expense, Badly positioned Display button

Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 review

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

FIRST LOOK: Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5

When Panasonic unveiled its new Lumix DC-GH5 camera in a 'development announcement' at Photokina last September it was hailed as a ground-breaker. A successor to the equally revolutionary GH4 , it provides further evolution of both the movie recording capabilities and the proprietary 4K Photo modes.
