I ordered this product by mistake. I was supposed to order Oscar by Oscar de la Renta. For some reason I ordered Espirit. When I first got it I thought it was a little strong. But I started wearing it and it is quite nice. A little sweeter than I am used

Esprit d'Oscar is a modern re-interpretation of Oscar de la Renta's signature scent 'Oscar', which was first released in 1977. Oscar is a big spicy floral and Esprit d'Oscar has been been designed to be a fresher, more contemporary modernisation of the original.

Don't be fooled by the opening notes that remind me of lemon sherbet a little soapy. It takes time to show its full quality maybe up to 2 hours, but when it does the aroma is gorgeous. Reminds me of magnolia & mock orange. The effect is subtle but warm & completely different from its top note.

I love wearing this scent it makes every mans head turn to see who is wearing it....It drives my boyfriend insane!

I aquired Esprit d'Oscar in a blind swap, and I expected something bright, fresh, probably light and summery. I was slightly worried, as that type of fragrances usually don't last on me and in general aren't quite strong enough for my liking. I was in for a surprise. Yes, it is definitely fresh.
