OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

Offering flagship features for midrange money, the 7 Pro is a serious threat in the Android market

Gorgeous; eye-catching screen; Detailed; lively sound; Impressive camera; Reasonable price

Sound quality lacks subtlety and composure; No 3.5mm jack; Not officially waterproof

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

OnePlus makes an ultra-high-end phone the OnePlus way, by leaving out the fluff. Well, apart from a motorised selfie camera.

Huge; notch-free screen; Versatile camera; Good stereo speakers

Lacks some of the eye-popping extras rivals have

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

The OnePlus 7 Pro's camera, performance and price make it the go-to premium Android phone of 2019.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is fast; has a neat pop-up camera and its triple rear cameras take fantastic pictures -- all at $80 less than its closest Samsung and iPhone rivals.

OnePlus' new phone is heavy and isn't rated for water resistance; It lacks wireless charging and a headphone jack.

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

OnePlus has grown up. The smartphone maker who, over several years and smartphone releases, is no longer settling. At least that's the impression I'm left with after using the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Long battery life; Speedy performance; Impressive display

Fingerprint sensor takes some adjustment; The ultra-wide camera needs some refinement; No IP rating for water/dust resistance

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

The flagship smartphone space is getting pretty stale in 2019. LG and HTC are floundering, overall sales are declining, Google's Pixels are an expensive bundle of compromises, Huawei has left the high-end US market, and Samsung is... Samsung.

Display 90Hz will spoil every other phone for you, and the overall display quality is stellar; Build quality On par with Samsung and Huawei; Speed The OnePlus 7 Pro is the fastest phone I've handled; Camera Pixel-beating detail and substantial low light improvements.

Big and thick This is one heckin' chonker, larger than the Pixel 3 XL or Galaxy S10+; Camera again Processing still isn't at Pixel or Huawei level, overexposes images and kills dynamic range; Lack of extras No wireless charging, no headphone jack.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is an all-screen beauty with the specs and pricing to beat other flagship phones; it's a great value.

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

The OnePlus 7 Pro approaches the experience of the popular £900 phone cameras. It doesn’t get all the way there, but does enough given its cost. The OnePlus 7 Pro does not offer every benefit of every high-price rival. Huawei’s P30 Pro its better in extreme low light and has a longer zoom.

Versatile 3-camera array; Clever pop-up front camera

Lacks a few advanced extras; No dedicated night mode for the secondary cameras

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

I’m just going to be as straight as I can be here – the OnePlus 7 Pro is a fantastic phone. This may be OnePlus’ most expensive phone to date as it aims to truly compete with Samsung and Google and Apple, but it’s still hundreds less than the phones offered by those companies as it matches them...

Display; Specs; Software; Camera; Price; Design and Size; Battery Life; Availability; Fingerprint Reader

Ummm; nothing?

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

The OnePlus 7 Pro is the higher version of the OnePlus 7 . The device took a different design aesthetics from the standard variant, boasting an impressive 88% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to the use of a motorized pop-up front facing camera, which help the company to utilize, almost the entire front...
