OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

The OnePlus 7 Pro is the most premium device the company has ever produced, and with that premium moniker comes a premium price tag. While no one expected the company to be able to deliver a phone that competes with others on every single level without raising price, it rockets that slide towards...

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

Surprisingly its been five years since OnePlus first came onto the scene and they have vastly matured and grown extremely fast as a company. Great price points and even gaining a U.S. carrier in T-Mobile last Fall. Now what looks to be their most important release yet is the OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus 7 Pro Smartphone Review

The OnePlus 7 Pro is the latest smartphone to be introduced by Android smartphone creators OnePlus and with last year's OnePlus 6 impressing us with its excellent specs and reasonable price-point, we're certainly very interested in finding out how the latest edition to the OnePlus smartphone family...

All-screen display; Pop-up camera is cool; Quick charging; Triple camera set-up

Photo quality isn't anything special; Long/tall design won't be for everyone; Price

Though the sports a rather capacious 4,000 mAh battery, the phone pulls off only middling performance here in our PCMark Work 2.0 battery life test. Further, dropping screen resolution and display refresh rate only gained us a little over a half hour of additional up-time.

Stunning 90Hz Display; Great Performance; Excellent Camera Performance; Beautiful Curved Glass Design; Very Fast Charging; Excellent Value

No Wireless Charging; No Headphone Jack; Middling Battery Life; No IP Water/Dust Rating

OnePlus do not have an official presence here in Australia but that hasn't stopped many Australians from purchasing OnePlus devices. There are a few ways to get your hands on one - many grey market importers sell them and there is always the mail forwarder option.

WoW! This was a nice surprise. Didn't think I would get any wow feeling when I left the LG G7 which is a very good handset with awesome screen. I was wrong ... My God what a mobile, the screen is the best I have seen all categories, absolutely stunning picture.

OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB 8GB RAM Grey ONE+7PRO256G8RGR review

As we’re wrapping up this review, the main question for me and a lot of users for is whether the OnePlus 7 Pro is worth the additional cost, and if it makes a successful landing in its new higher price category whilst maintaining the company’s mantra of offering the best value for the money.

OnePlus promises value, not winning performance. The OnePlus 7 Pro has high-end specs that make it work like a premium device. It also has a design and build that compete among the best. The company had to cut corners somewhere.

Exposure is on spot Slightly Enhanced; but still natural-looking colors Great portrait mode Good video performance Nightscape works well

Poor dynamic range Hazy effect in some images Low-light performance is horrible without Nightscape Landscape performance is lacking
