OnePlus 6 review: Top-quality design, features and performance at a great price

For all the plaudits it garnered, the OnePlus 5T wasn't quite a hands-down winner. It didn't launch with the latest Android OS, for example, which isn't the case here, as the OnePlus 6 has the very latest Android version on board.

Large 19:9 aspect-ratio screen; Up to 256GB of internal storage; Good battery life; Dual SIM; 3.5mm headset jack; Excellent value for money

No IP rating; No MicroSD slot for storage expansion

OnePlus 6 Review: It's pretty darn good

The OnePlus 6 is a device worth taking a peek at if you're in the market for a new phone. This is a handset that is at once a high-performer, low cost, and highly capable. It has an abundance of options and it's very good at what it's meant to do.

Display is bright; colorful; Battery lasts all day; Camera is highly decent; Device feels premium with glass/metal design; Pricing is better than most

Display is 1080p (could also be a pro; Glass feels nice; but glass requires a case; No official resistance to water or dust (IP rating; No wireless charging

The OnePlus 6's price start at Rs 34,999 and for that price, there's no other smartphone that can perform as well as this beast. It has a crisp display that offers vivid colours and gives great battery performance.

Great Performance; Optimised OS; Great Battery Life; Dash Charge Is A Must; Water Resistant; Great Build Quality; Amazing Gaming Experience

Camera Needs Improvement; Average Speakers; Earpiece Affects Call Quality; Fingperint Magnet (Midnight Black Variant

OnePlus 6

OnePlus's latest smartphone is another model designed to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy and Apple iPhone models, but at a much cheaper price. The tagline of the OnePlus 6 is "the speed you need", and has been designed to be quite different from the last few OnePlus phones.

OnePlus 6 Review

OnePlus has one single promise - top hardware at an affordable price point. Their "Never Settle" motto speaks to that promise. However, with the OnePlus 6 breaking the Php30k price barrier, we're not sure if that promise still holds true.

* Great performance; * Impressive camera; * Nice display; * Simple yet beautiful design; * Fast charging; * Very affordable for a flagship

* Average battery life

OnePlus 6 Review

I'll start with the negative points, and the way I see it, there are three main drawbacks to the OnePlus 6. Firstly, it has a glass back but does not support wireless charging, while it also lacks an official IP water and dust resistance rating. Lastly, the single downward firing speaker is poor.

Very fast; Gesture control works brilliantly; Camera is much improved; Fast fingerprint scanner and facial recognition; Clean software; Impressive display; Very well priced

No wireless charging; Poor speaker; No official IP rating

A Notch Above: OnePlus 6 Review

I have more experience with OnePlus' phones than any other vendor, and as I've come to like them quite a bit, I feel a bit anxious ahead of the next launch, in case the new phone somehow doesn't live up to the hype as the previous ones have.

Great build quality for a glass phone, and solid design overall, Excellent performance; even has a notable increase in GPU performance over OP5T, OLED screen delivers rich color (inc.

Finger print gesture to access notification menu available on OP5/5T was removed here; No wireless charging or water-proofing

However, in a way, the brand's success has killed the interest in the brand itself. OnePlus, a fan favourite, was ever popular because it stuck it to the big names like Samsung and Apple with a quality phone that didn't break the bank. In 2018, though, that's no longer enough.

I love this oneplus6 256GB

Great oneplus 6 256GB phone, good contact with seller. I recommend this seller completely. Royal mail tracking wasn't working, but the seller was happy to help, I can't fault this phone. The sound quality is pretty good, despite YouTube bad reviews. "You'll love it"
