"Wacky fun with Luffy and friends"

One Piece: Burning Blood does the obvious thing. It creates a fighting game based off an anime with a ton of super powered characters. However, this time it doesn't work. The fighting engine is lacking, the characters are simply not balanced, and there's a general lack of meaningful content.

One Piece: Burning Blood is the latest game in the One Piece series. Rather than fight a whole bunch of smaller enemies and then take on the boss at the end of the level, these battles are all "boss" battles, where you will be fighting one on one against some of your favorite characters.

Whoops, I went into this game thinking it was going to be another Pirate Warriors type game. Imagine my surprise when I saw that Spike Chunsoft was the developer, and that One Piece: Burning Blood is actually a fighting game.

Hi all. I'm back with a look at another Anime game. It's One Piece: Burning Blood! Plot: I'm not going to write a synopsis, as the series is way too long to be covered shortly and what I'll say below removes most need for it.

Buy One Piece: Burning Blood Spike Chunsoft is no stranger to anime fighting games. While the company is more recently known for J-Stars Victory VS+ on the Sony platforms, it developed both the Tenkaichi and Raging Blast versions of the Dragon Ball Z fighting games.
