Slim & lightweight --- yet the screen and buttons are easy to see and comprehend. User friendly. I did the set-up & used the simple mode and was up and running within about 5 mins. Simple to "pause" recording too which comes in handy.

My husband has a earlier model and loved it. I purchased this one refurbished and it was a great deal. Easy to use and easy to download the recordings. Great sound quality. I've used it for school, for recording old voice mail messages I wanted to keep and for recording sounds off the internet.

The recorder worked in recording but I am having a problem with why wasn't everything in one place and the playback volume cannot be increased to an average volume. There are no instructions on helping me with my problems. I'm going to continue to see if I can get my problems resolved.

This recorder is a very good tool to be used for various recording applications, It is pocket size, and has all of the larger sized and more expensive recorder's features.

Installed a micro-SD card and filled it with recordings of lectures. However, there was no audio-in function when using the mic-in to record from my laptop. Quality was bad. Had to use another recorder with this feature. Otherwise, was easy to use.

Good product. Does what it says on the box. Great how you can get rid of any background noise if needed. I found this useful because for my dissertation research interviews I was interviewing people outside with a lot of noise in the background, and I was able to cut all of this out so now it sounds...

The WS852 has so many options and is adjusted to several recording situations (seminars; dictation; etc.
