Olympus Tough TG-820
Need a tough camera built like a tank, while withstanding the weight of one rolling over it The TG-820 from Olympus will go almost anywhere you can imagine, and survive the journey.
Pros:
- Bright and clear LCD screen
- Decent image quality at low ISO levels
- Incredibly rugged
Cons:
- High ISO images are messy
- HD video not as impressive as still images

Awesome camera
Love this! I bought it to replace a camera that got water damage while on vacation. My stepmom had this camera and I was so impressed with it - it was dropped several times and was used underwater, and the camera is still in perfect working condition.

Really nice camera that can withstand almost anything. Has long been a forerunner of this (My 770SW). TG820 is better in every way; better pictures ..... light years better video recording & more settings + better / smarter built (with only one door and double lock on it).

Olympus TG-820
easy to start using. Buttons a little fiddly when trying to take photo and hold a baby at the same time. A shame a memory card did not come with this item.

The Olympus TG-820 is another in the line of “TOUGH” seirs digital cameras.
Pros:
- Rugged design
- water
- sweat and pocket lint resistant
- good stils and HD video
- multi-shot mode
Cons:
- custom battery
- non-optimal mechanical design
- noes not float in water

Great camera
Bought this camera as a second camera for a vacation. Used it more often than I thought I would. Sharp clear photos. Loved the video option as well. Very satisfied with my purchase. Will definitely use it at the cottage and on the boat this summer.

Camera has many easy to use features
This camera was a great purchase, top of it's class for fall protection and toughness and waterproofing. The 100KG crushproof is pretty impressive. I find it very easy to use even with gloves on and underwater.
