Nice waterproof camera!
This camera is a kind of G-Shock version of digital camera. It's not as slim as other regular cameras, but it's heavy duty features are great. Especially I like the design and large LCD monitor. I have used this in salt and fresh water without any problem.

Great Camera
I gave this camera to my husband who is a commercial fisherman, he was always talking about the whales and eagles he sees everyday. He now brings home the greatest shots. One one occasion they had a issue with some equipment under water but needed to see it to know what to do - his camera was taken...

[REVIEW-OLYMPUS TOUGH TG-820]
This 12 megapixel "indestructible" compact camera has a 5X zoom lens (28–140mm film equivalent). The handsome body comes in red and black. It will withstand a 2m drop (onto carpet or concrete?) and is waterproof to 10m. It is also dustproof and will operate down to -10 degrees.

As an Olympus lover, I was quite disappointed in this camera. I ended up selling it less than a month after buying it and getting a Panasonic DSC-TS3 instead. Overall the Olympus delivers on the basic promise of ruggedness and photo quality, but misses on ease of use both with the physical...

Olympus Tough TG-820
The Olympus Tough TG-820 ($299.99 direct) isn't the company's top-end rugged camera , but it's no slouch in terms of toughness, performance, or image quality. The go-anywhere shooter packs a 12-megapixel image sensor, a sharp 5x zoom lens, and 1080p30 video capture capability.
Pros:
- Sharp lens
- Very rugged design
- Excellent rear LCD
- 5x zoom range

Cons:
- No GPS
- So-so video quality
- Must charge battery in camera

Olympus TG-820 Tough Digital Camera Review
In theory at least, the entire Olympus Tough range presents a host of compact cameras that are versatile, seemingly unbreakable and solid both literally and in terms of their overall performance. Fact is, in reality they are exactly this and as expected the TG-820 is no exception.

Olympus Tough TG-820
The TG-810 is a fine, tough camera, if you need the meanest, most rugged model out there. Its high ISO performance leaves a lot to be desired, but it's perfectly suitable for the most extreme circumstances for photography.
Pros:
- Bright and clear LCD screen
- Decent image quality at low ISO levels
- Incredibly rugged
Cons:
- High ISO images are messy
- HD video not as impressive as still images
