Olympus Tough TG-5 Review
Olympus cameras have enjoyed the top spot in our waterproof category since the introduction of the TG-1. The fifth iteration, the aptly named TG-5 ($449.99), raises the performance bar thanks to the addition of 4K video capture and 20fps Raw shooting, but keeps the basic design and lens from previous models. It's priced higher than the TG-4 that came before it, but it's the best rugged camera you can buy, and our Editors' Choice.
Design and Features
The TG-5 ($449.00 at Amazon) , available in black or red, has a few physical changes from previous models, but maintains the same form factor. It measures 2.6 by 4.4 by 1.3 inches (HWD) and weighs 8.8 ounces. The lens sits at the center of the body, unlike other tough cameras that place it in a corner, so there's room for a mounting ring for accessory lenses and flashes.
