Olympus Tough TG-310 review Review
The Olympus Tough TG-310 offers fairly good value for money, although its durability is more impressive than its performance. Also, its fiddly controls and poor-quality LCD screen conspire to make it feel rather underwhelming.
Pros:
- Waterproof
- shockproof and freeze-proof
- Small and light
- Eye-Fi compatible
Cons:
- Performance isn't great
- Buttons are awkward to use
- Poor-quality LCD screen
- Doesn't float

Olympus TG-310
Olympus has played a leading role in establishing the ruggedised compact market, first with its SW series and more recently with its ‘Tough' range of waterproof, shockproof, freeze-proof, dust-proof and generally bombproof compacts.
Pros:
- Tough build
- Digital filter effects
- Capable of good image quality
Cons:
- Poor LCD monitor
- Buttons are small and stiff
- Panorama mode is rubbish

The Olympus TG-310 is a tough compact with 3D shooting abilities that offers a budget option for thrill seekers and adventurers. But can it live up to Olumpus' 'Tough' range by giving us a virtually bombproof compact?

- Digital filter effects
- Capable of good image quality : Poor LCD monitor
- Buttons are small and stiff
- Panorama mode is rubbish
Cons:
- : Poor LCD monitor

Olympus Tough TG-310
The 14-megapixel Olympus Tough TG-310 ($199.99 direct) digital camera is built to withstand some pretty harsh environments. You can submerge it in up to 10 feet of water, drop it from a height of five feet, and use it in temperatures as low as 14°F.
Pros:
- Modest price for a rugged camera. Waterproof to 10 feet, shockproof to 5 feet, freezeproof to 14°F
- Good low-light performance
Cons:
- Cannot zoom while recording video
- No separate battery charger

Olympus Tough TG-310 (White)
This camera is not practical, and has broken after about one year of use. I was not particularly carefull whit it, but i bough it because of the "TOUGH" mention. After 3 or 4 falls of less than 1.5m, it gaves me error messages then black screen. So, bought another model if you want tough device.
Cons:
- Not tough

Olympus Tough TG-310
Image quality is nothing special, but this rugged, waterproof, low-cost camera makes a lot of sense in inhospitable environments.

Olympus Tough TG-310
When a product boldly claims to be ‘tough' you've no option but to put that theory to the test. Olympus's latest Tough camera is the TG-310, a budget-friendly compact for the everyday fun-seeking photographer.

Olympus Tough TG-310 review
The TG310 costs a lot less than most rugged, waterproof cameras. It doesn't look especially invulnerable with its plastic shell, but its light weight and lack of extrusions mean that we don't doubt Olympus's claim that it'll survive drops from 1.5m.
