Great all rounder for everyone!
When you combine f2.0, 1080p video and rock solid build quality, it results in everyone enjoying this camera, including my kids. By far the best camera in its class.

Great features, Great pictures
I bought this camera for underwater snorkeling in the Carribean but have ended up using it as my primary camera. It takes wonderful underwater shots down to 40ft using 3 underwater scene modes.
Pros:
- Portable but powerful
- Lots of useful scene and special effect modes
Cons:
- It is a bit pricey

Excellent picture quality for a digital camera. The digital zoom is excellent. When you take the picture at full zoom, the image on the LCD screen looks grainy but once the picture is taken, the picture is clear and crisp. Overall, good buy.

The best Waterproof camera out-there at this moment. The design is not great, but is the best performance overall.

Just taken a few photos around the house, but it appears to be a nice camera. We will put it to the test this summer

The Best Camera Your Money Will Buy and Be happy About it, WOOOT
I have owned the Olympus tough cameras since they began. I am a true believer, not only do I need a camera small, tough and shoots a great picture, I need it dust resistant, water resistant, and when you download the shots, it is as though your looking at what you took the picture of... Nice.

Rugged Camera takes Very Good Photos
I purchased this camera becaiuse the specification list put it above most all weather cameras. The camera is clearly designed for outdoor use. 3 of the scene settings are for taking underwater photos. While I do not plan to go swimming with this camera the all weather abilities appealed to me.

This is a great camera
I am still getting to grips with camera, but so far, so good. It takes good quality pictures instantly and works well in freezing temperatures. It is super easy to use too.

Good luck with warranty they gave me the run around
Olympus doesn't back there products. I own 2 of these cameras, that we use for aquarium photography and know how to use them. Our newest camera failed and filled with water. Returned it at their request and they sent it back to us saying water damage was not covered.

Olympus Tough TG-1 iHS
The Olympus Tough TG-1 iHS ($399.99 direct) is not your typical rugged point-and-shoot camera . This pocket shooter looks more like a traditional camera-its lens is centered rather than perched in the corner-and has a fast f/2 aperture on the wide end.
Pros:
- Excellent high ISO performance
- Fast f/2 lens
- Snappy performance
- Accepts filters and conversion lenses
- GPS and digital compass
- Macro LED light
Cons:
- Not the sharpest lens
- No dedicated battery charger
