If it's zoom you're after, this one promises 'Super Zoom'. Albeit more modest than its big brother, the SZ-30, this playing field is getting packed with several brands vying for the travel dollar. So how does it stack up?
Pros:
- : Extensive zoom range
- Loads of features
- Cheaper than most super zooms
- Has 3D shooting mode : General soft images
- Unreliable metering and focussing
Cons:
- : General soft images
- Unreliable metering and focussing

Olympus SZ-20 review
The Olympus SZ-20 shares several characteristics with the Casio Exilim EX-H30 camera we looked at recently. The price is almost identical and both offer a 16Mp resolution coupled with With the 'SZ' prefix indicating 'super zoom', and priced nigh identically to the Casio, with the same 12.5x optical...

Olympus SZ-20
Like Nikon with its Coolpix S9100 , Olympus is a late entrant into the travel zoom class. But not to be outdone it's shoehorning a 12.5x optical zoom into a 16-megapixel pocket snapper with the launch of the SZ-20, the headline spec an exact match for Casio's competing Exilim EX-H30.
Pros:
- Decent resolution
- zoom range
- feature set
- reasonably priced for those on a budget
- striking retro/futurist design
Cons:
- Fiddly scroll wheel on backplate in lieu of proper shooting mode dial
- variable white balance
- corner softening at extreme wideangle
- softened shots at maximum telephoto

Great little camera, Great EBAY price. I am glad I have it.
It is what it is, a mini-camera with much better features and pricing than it's ancestor, the Olympus C-3020 Zoom for which I paid $500.00 about twelve years ago. I don't test cameras for a living so I really don't see any real purpose for being asked to provide this review.

Olympus SZ-20
This year, Olympus has created a new 'traveller' category in its super zoom camera range with three models that are more compact than the SP-series models and more competitive with similarly-featured cameras from other manufacturers.

- a good focal range in a compact body
- HD video capture
Cons:

Olympus SZ-20: Amazing
This camera is fantastic. It is just as good as the bigger, bulkier cameras except its small and light. Looks great, and works great too! The ridge at the side allows to good grip and controlled and stable shooting.

Excellent Product for the Price
Having used other digital cameras before, I was greatly impressed with the Olympus' ability to display in bright light. This is a feature that actually drew me to this camera to start with. I still have things to learn yet on the operation, but I already enjoy the use and screen of this camera.
