Olympus OM-D E-M10

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 is an affordable camera that has a lot to offer. It comes with a 16 megapixel Four Thirds sensor. It is waterproof and great for taking pictures outdoors and indoors. Just like the E-M1 it comes with the latest TruePic VII image processor and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.

This camera has a lot of trimmings. It is perfect for the serious photographer. It comes with a built-in viewfinder. Plus you get several customizable controls. It is perfect for the photographer that wants to take control over shooting options. On top of that, it is light and compact. There are more options than with other cameras.

This camera is impressive. The best part is that it offers value for the money. It offers excellent image quality and many excellent controls. Overall it is the best mirrorless camera on the market.

The E-M10 offers more than the previous generation and is affordable. You will love the fact that purchasing this camera won't break the bank.

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 comes with a powerful lens. The 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ power zoom lens allows one to take better photos. If you want to take shots from a distance, this is the perfect camera.

Looking closely at the E-M10, you will see that it offers protection from the elements. It has an improved rear screen and the ability to easily send images off to a smart device. The result is an accurate view of everything.

The E-M10 features a full twin dial control setup, which provides access to exposure settings. There is also an easy to use touchscreen. Olympus has not done anything to make its menu simpler.

Some of the top features are the improvement to the rear screen. There is also 'Adaptive Brightness' viewfinder technology. This improves the viewfinder and the brightness is based on the lightning conditions. Overall, the Olympus OM-D E-M10 has a lot to offer. If you are looking for a professional grade camera, don't wait any longer to purchase one.

Olympus OMD EM10

The EM10 is meant to turn the heads of those shopping for an entry-level DSLR, where instead Olympus will offer them a comfortably smaller body with still respectable stabilisation, Wifi, a tilting screen, 8fps shooting and the joys of a native live view system with its fast single AF and cracking...

Olympus OM-D E-M10 review: Olympus' E-M10 offers a good mirrorless alternative to a first dSLR

The E-M10 is a solid Micro Four Thirds camera that sits at the bottom of Olympus' higher end OM-D line; the line includes more advanced features, like an electronic viewfinder and tilting display, than the more compact PEN cameras. It's both designed and priced more for enthusiasts than the always-auto crowd, but with both a basic touchscreen interface and a physical-control-driven advanced interface, it's great if you want a camera you can grow into.

Though it doesn't deliver the best photo quality, the sum of the Olympus OM-D E-M10's design, performance and features add up to a nice upgrade from a point-and-shoot.

The Olympus OM-D E-M10's design and interface works well for both beginning and advanced photographers; it has a well-rounded feature set; and it's fast enough for general-purpose kids-and-pets photography.

It produces good-but-not-great photos and videos.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Review

Olympus has brought out an entry-level camera in its enthusiast-targeted OM-D line. This model, dubbed the OM-D E-M10 ($699.99 direct, body only)( at Amazon), comes in at the lowest price point for an OM-D yet. It shares many of the features of the 16-megapixel E-M5($499.00 at Amazon), and adds new ones like Wi-Fi, but some things had to go in order to meet this lower price point. The E-M10 isn't weather-sealed, and it doesn't have an accessory port, so if those are must-haves you'll need to move up to the E-M5. But it impressed us enough with its speedy focus and burst rate, overall image quality, and handling to earn our Editors' Choice award for mirrorless cameras priced under $1,000. The former owner of that top spot, the Samsung NX300($925.00 at Amazon) is still a little stronger in some areas, including low-light shooting, but the E-M10's well-rounded feature set wins out in the end. Design and Features The E-M10 looks a lot like the E-M5, but it's just a bit smaller. It mea...

The entry-level mirrorless OM-D E-M10 is another winner in Olympus' OM-D series. Its image quality, speedy performance, and built-in EVF earn it Editors' Choice honors.

Fast focus and burst shooting; Good image quality at high ISO; In-body image stabilization; Tilting touch-screen display; Built-in EVF and flash; Integrated Wi-Fi

Not weather-sealed; Lacks accessory port and mic input; No 60p video support
