Professional Lightweight Camera

Having replaced a Canon 5DSR system and lenses for a system that I can carry in its entirety for up to 6hrs + a day I must say I am impressed. The things this camera cannot do you can write on a postage stamp, for those photographers who like settings and menu's this camera is for you!

Durable; Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Lightweight

Outstanding Camera!

I have recently sold all of my Canon gear to purchase the M1 Mark II and 3 pro lenses. The initial test shots from the camera using each of the 3 lenses are superb! It's solidly built, very responsive and the image quality is on par with the Canon Mark iii.

Works great, and is very fast

Works great, and is very fast. I use this with the Olympus 75 f1.8 to shoot hockey, and the AF with the latest firmware is fantastic. Much better AF than any of Olympus's previous efforts including their SLR's.

Fantastic replacement for the E5 and solves all of the issues I didn't like with the E-M5. Better build, weather sealing, built-in grip, better AF with FT lenses and slightly better video.

Must be bought with the Battery Grip. Quite unbalanced rig with this lens otherwise

Having come from a SLR and Dslr background, this camera I believe will be a first model in the dominance of DSLRs in the enthusiast/pro sector. It is amazingly fast, sharp, bright and versatile. Just allow a lot of time to adjust to the menu system and controls.

Olympus OM-D E-M1 review: Micro Four Thirds camera is a lightweight heavyweight champ

If you really need need the much larger files, slightly better exposure range or low-light performance of a full-frame camera, or if you can't live without 1024p or 1060p video, then the E-M1 may not be for you.

Rugged body with excellent ergonomics; Best-in-class five-axis in-body image stabilization; Highly configurable

Video format options lacking by comparison to competing cameras; Mediocre battery life; Rich configurability of E-M1 makes for steep learning curve

In addition, the image can be seen forming on the screen of the smartphone during long exposures captured using Live Bulb and Live Time mode.

Small camera body; Plenty of direct controls; Excellent EVF; High quality images; Weather sealed

LCD not variangle; Some features hard to find; High price

Excellent camera

Really enjoying this camera. Right of the box it felt good. Image sharpness better than any of my previous cameras. Camera has too many features to mention, but the most important is the images look great and the camera works flawlessly.
