Olympus 75mm f/1.8 ED M.Zuiko Digital review by romeo

After using Nikon (D300/D700) and Sony (NEX-7/A7r) now I use only Olympus. Two body OM-D E-M5, one OM-D E-M5 with 25mm F1.8 and another OM-D E-M5 with 75mm F1.8. No regrets for the past, for me small is beautiful. Image quality of the Olympus with its lens is sharp, beautiful with gorgeous color.

A wonderful lens. Together with the Nocticron by far the best m43 prime. Better than the 25 f1.2. Cannot be replaced by, for example, a 40-150 f2.8 Pro, as the Bokeh is lightyears better. If you have the money, buy it. You will never regret.

Optically close to perfection; Beautiful colors; Just perfect, not over-saturated; Relatively small and unobtrousive; Ideal for stealth portraits; Wonderful mild and smooth bokeh, One of the best I have ever seen

AF could be faster; Focal length in some situations a tad too long (not the fault of the lens); Lens hood not included and sold by Olympus for an obscene price; I bought the generic hood from JJC for half of the price; Perfect match

Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital 75mm f/1.8

The beautifully crafted, all-metal Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm f/1.8 is a strong performer in the optical department, in fact it is one of the sharpest lenses we have ever tested. It's surprisingly sharp wide open at f/1.8, reaching absolutely outstanding levels in the f/2.8-f/8 range.

Olympus 75mm f/1.8 lens review

The new fast optic from Olympus features an all-metal design and an equivalent focal length of 150mm - but how does it perform? Designed particularly with shooting portraits in mind, Olympus also says that the lens is ideal for shooting high-speed indoor sports.

Olympus 75mm f/1.8 ED M.Zuiko Digital

Will deliver excellent shots in nearly all circumstances. Aperture controls the DOF and leaves everything else unaffected. I do know a slightly better lens (the Zeiss 135/2 APO) but that one is for DSLRs. From that point of view, I won't even call it expensive.

Optically close to perfection; Excellent IQ

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm F1.8 Lens Silver - BRAND NEW review

There's a lot to like about the Olympus 75mm ƒ/1.8 M.Zuiko; simply amazing results for sharpness, great resistance to chromatic aberration, very low corner shading and near-zero distortion. Add in excellent build quality and good looks, and you have a package that's sure to please any photographer.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm F1.8 Lens Silver - Brand New review

The iPhone 14 isn't much of an upgrade over the iPhone 13, but it's still a great device and an upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 11 or older.
