Olympus E-620 Review / Test Report
Over the recent years it was sometimes difficult to understand Olympus' DSLR marketing strategy but recently they got their act together with a pretty straightforward lineup starting with the budget-class E-420 & E-520, the "prosumer" E-30 up to the professional grade E-3.
Pros:
- compact and light-weight
- efficient in-body image stabilizer
- good phase-detection AF
- immense feature set
Cons:
- mediocre RAW potential due to strong AA filter
- questionable positioning of the control dial
- slow contrast detection AF

I bought this camera the day it hit the shelves. I have been an avid Olympus user for years because I have really come to appreciate the innovation of their cameras, the benefits of the 4x3 dimensions of images, and the compact size.
Pros:
- Compact size
- improved high ISO capabilities over previous generations of Olympus cameras
- no high ISO banding that was seen on a few previous generations
- swivel screen
- improved viewfinder
- improved auto-focus system
- more auto-focus points
- optional battery grip
- ease of use
- incredible dynamic...
Cons:
- If you don't like compact cameras, then look at the E-30
- It has nearly the same feature set but will meet the needs of those that don't want a compact, light camera
- The autofocus system responds a bit differently than what was in previous generation Olympus DSLR's, so that took me a bit of getting...

Olympus E-620
Some interesting features, but image quality is a little disappointing at this price.

This is hardly the first time that we're meeting Huawei products for the pages of our website, but these were mostly manufactured by other companies and merely signed by Huawei. After the Ideos 7 Slim... We first saw the famed iPad back in 2010, when it debuted at Apple retail stores.

Olympus E-620 Review
When we reviewed the E-30, we liked just about everything about the camera – except the price. When the E-620 came along, it seemed like exactly the answer we – and, we're betting, a lot of other shooters – are looking for: the E-30's creative advantages for casual shooters and those who don't...
Pros:
- E-30 technology for less
- Very nice kit lens
- Useful Art Filters mode
Cons:
- Hit or miss AF
- Quirky live view
- Noisier than competition
