The Four Thirds range has tended to lag a fraction behind the best contemporary APS-C sensor-size DSLRs in terms of absolute performance but make up some of the difference with excellent lenses, feature-packed specifications, and lower sticker prices.

Olympus E-620 review
The Olympus E-620 DSLR fits snugly between the E-30 and the recently announced E-450, in the middle of the Olympus 'E' range. Olympus E-620 review
Olympus E-620 – Introduction The Four Thirds system, which debuted in 2003 with the innovative Olympus E-1, is still unique in being the only SLR system designed specifically for digital rather than film photography. The theoretical advantages of such a system are obvious.

Olympus E-620
This much spec, for this price, what more could you ask for at this level? A cracking little camera.

Olympus E-620
As much as we like the E-30, we can't help feeling that the E-620 is the one to get for most applications, unless you value the feel of a bigger camera. If you want most of the goodness of the E-30 for a lower price, definitely get the E-620.
Pros:
- Illuminated buttons
- Rotating LCD screen
- Excellent image quality
- Light and compact
Cons:
- No video mode
- Slow write time to xD cards
- LCD resolution pales in comparison to its competitors
