Olympus E-620
As much as we like the E-30, we can't help feeling that the E-620 is the one to get for most applications, unless you value the feel of a bigger camera. If you want most of the goodness of the E-30 for a lower price, definitely get the E-620.
Pros:
- Illuminated buttons
- Rotating LCD screen
- Excellent image quality
- Light and compact
Cons:
- No video mode
- Slow write time to xD cards
- LCD resolution pales in comparison to its competitors

Olympus E-620
The E-620 is Olympus' first digital SLR aimed at talented amateur photographers--the high end of the bottom of the range, if you will. It slots in beween entry-level options like the ultra-compact E-420 and the more traditional

- Effective dust-reduction filter
- Backlighting for buttons
- Moveable screen
- External flash control
Cons:
- Viewfinder still too small
- Autofocus with Live View very slow
- Limited ISO range

Olympus E-620 Digital SLR
After a flurry of models from the company, including the new semi-pro E-30 and E-450, an upgrade to the entry-level E-420, Olympus has added another completely new E series DSLR in the form of the E-620.

Olympus E-620 review
The most compact and lightweight mid-range DSLR on the market, the Olympus E-620, looks a tad toy-like next to the chunkier likes of the Nikon D5000 and Canon 500D . But make no mistake: this is a serious piece of image-snapping kit, aimed at the semi-experienced market.

The latest PEN camera, the Olympus PEN E-PL3 camera, also called the PEN Lite, is another great addition to the family. Its image quality is very good, its performance level is high, and it carries a reasonable price.

Reviews: Olympus E-620: Review
Overall, the Olympus E-620 is quite impressive with features and very competitive for the price. Picture quality trumps the E-620's predecessors, although images still seem plagued by noise at higher ISO levels.
