Olympus E-620 Digicam Review
Olympus has established its name for manufacturing very well specified cameras in the entry levels. Olympus was the first company to offer two cameras in the entry brackets the little E-410 and its image-stabilized big brother, the E-510 which was later upgraded to the 420 and 520 respectively.

Olympus E-620
The Olympus E-620 is the latest addition to Olympus' now extensive range of Four Thirds system digital SLR cameras. Slotting into the range above the E-520 and E-450 models and below the E-30, the E620 borrows features from all three cameras.

Olympus E-620 review
Between the excellent Live View mode, pop-out LCD screen and the art modes, the Olympus E-620 is a lot of fun to use. We recommend it if you want a compact digital SLR that’s not hard to use and which doesn’t compromise on advanced features.

Olympus E-620 Digital SLR
After a flurry of models from the company, including the new semi-pro E-30 and E-450, an upgrade to the entry-level E-420, Olympus has added another completely new E series DSLR in the form of the E-620.

Olympus E-620 Digital SLR Review
Olympus' latest E-620 DSLR targets users who are interested in something better than a budget entry-level DSLRs, that don't want to pay for an upper mid-range or semi-pro body. This new camera is packed with features from the higher-end E-30, but uses a body that's closer in size to the compact...
Pros:
- Compact
- lightweight body
- Built-in image stabilization
- Price / feature balance
- Fully-articulating screen
Cons:
- No movie mode
- Menu & main screens seem dated
- ISO performance not as good as rival DSLRs with bigger sensors
- No HDMI port

Review: Olympus E-620 DSLR
Camera costs are falling faster than a bowling ball in a black hole. Case in point: The Olympus E-620, an inexpensive digital single-lens reflex camera that won't weigh your shoulder down, is easy to use and takes fine pictures in a wide variety of conditions.
Pros:
- Easy to use
- Lithe and compact size for a DSLR
- Spiffy swiveling LCD screen
- Excellent shots in photon-rich environments
- Body-based image stabilization
- Easy to configure in both automatic and manual modes
Cons:
- Poor low-light performance
- Noisy images above ISO 1000
- Doesn't shoot video
- Plastic body and lens construction feels like it could break if squeezed too hard

The Four Thirds range has tended to lag a fraction behind the best contemporary APS-C sensor-size DSLRs in terms of absolute performance but make up some of the difference with excellent lenses, feature-packed specifications, and lower sticker prices.
Pros:
- Superb image quality
- Good tonal response and dynamic range (at ISO 200 and above
- Good high ISO performance
- Built-in Image Stabilization
- Generally fast and responsive in use
- Twist and swivel screen useful for certain shooting types
- JPEG engine makes the most of the sensor's output
- Useful
Cons:
- Contrast detect AF pretty slow in live view (which is often the case on DSLRs
- Moderate LCD screen resolution (and too reflective in bright light
- Slightly lower absolute resolution than rest of class
- Complicated menu system not that easy to navigate (though it offers a great degree of user

Olympus E-620 review
The most compact and lightweight mid-range DSLR on the market, the Olympus E-620, looks a tad toy-like next to the chunkier likes of the Nikon D5000 and Canon 500D . But make no mistake: this is a serious piece of image-snapping kit, aimed at the semi-experienced market.
