Olympus E-620 Review

When we reviewed the E-30, we liked just about everything about the camera – except the price. When the E-620 came along, it seemed like exactly the answer we – and, we're betting, a lot of other shooters – are looking for: the E-30's creative advantages for casual shooters and those who don't...
Pros:
  • E-30 technology for less
  • Very nice kit lens
  • Useful Art Filters mode
Cons:
  • Hit or miss AF
  • Quirky live view
  • Noisier than competition

I bought this camera the day it hit the shelves. I have been an avid Olympus user for years because I have really come to appreciate the innovation of their cameras, the benefits of the 4x3 dimensions of images, and the compact size.
Pros:
  • Compact size
  • improved high ISO capabilities over previous generations of Olympus cameras
  • no high ISO banding that was seen on a few previous generations
  • swivel screen
  • improved viewfinder
  • improved auto-focus system
  • more auto-focus points
  • optional battery grip
  • ease of use
  • incredible dynamic...
