First look at Nokia X3
Nokia X3 is an affordable (by European standards, that is) and relatively inexpensive (in Russia) music-heavy phone. While it could have been announced at any other event or even with a bare press-release, Nokia picked Nokia World 09 to unleash the X3, which is going to be one of the first...

Music X-three-M
We have to admit the Nokia X3 is a tough sell, and that has almost nothing to do with the competition. In fact, there are only few top manufacturers that take music phones as seriously as Nokia. So, whether it's XpressMusic or X3 (we like that one better), Nokia phones are having a ball.

Nokia X3 is the first slider phone in the X series focusing on music and entertainment. In particular, the music makes the phone absolutely honest effort on what sound quality concerns. The player itself is also very good and easy to use.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type Cell Phone Review
Announced in August 2010, the Nokia X3 Touch and Type is an entry-level handset that packs a lot of features into a small package, including a touch screen, a 5-megapixel camera, and a broad range of wireless options. It's also relatively inexpensive (around $170) as far as unlocked phones go.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type Review
In terms of general performance, don't expect the X3 to be a powerhouse. Though we never encountered any crippling problems, the smartphone was often sluggish, even with simple tasks like launching an app.

We had reviewed the X3-02's predecessor, the X3 , earlier this year, and like the older device, the new phone comes with a strong emphasis on its music player, but with an added twist: a mobile experience centered around both touchscreen and keypad.

Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type Review - Impossibly Thin
As the name suggests, Nokia X3-02 is a touchscreen handset, but what's really interesting is the fact that it does not come with Symbian OS, but with the S40 UI. In fact, this is the first Nokia touchscreen mobile phone to use the S40 UI platform.
Pros:
- In addition to its "premium" look
- Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type embeds a wide range of goodies that are not "standards" for S40 mobile phones: 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen
- USB on-the-go
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- 3G with 10Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA for data transfers
- microSD
- 3.5mm audio jack
- as well...
Cons:
- There are only a few downsides of the phone, but if you can get past these then you won't even notice them afterwards
- The X3-02 does not feature a document viewer, multitasking, accelerometer, proximity sensor and GPS receiver.
