Nokia X3 Touch and Type review
The dual touchscreen/keypad interface is a little clunky but there is still plenty to admire about this new candybar design

We had reviewed the X3-02's predecessor, the X3 , earlier this year, and like the older device, the new phone comes with a strong emphasis on its music player, but with an added twist: a mobile experience centered around both touchscreen and keypad.

Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type Review - Impossibly Thin
As the name suggests, Nokia X3-02 is a touchscreen handset, but what's really interesting is the fact that it does not come with Symbian OS, but with the S40 UI. In fact, this is the first Nokia touchscreen mobile phone to use the S40 UI platform.
Pros:
- In addition to its "premium" look
- Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type embeds a wide range of goodies that are not "standards" for S40 mobile phones: 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen
- USB on-the-go
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- 3G with 10Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA for data transfers
- microSD
- 3.5mm audio jack
- as well...
Cons:
- There are only a few downsides of the phone, but if you can get past these then you won't even notice them afterwards
- The X3-02 does not feature a document viewer, multitasking, accelerometer, proximity sensor and GPS receiver.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type
Adding a touchscreen to S40 could have ended up as an unholy dog's dinner but it hasn't. Rather, Nokia has delivered a system of control that makes other candybar mobile phones feel rather dated. ?

Hardware wise, the Nokia X3-02 has all the bells and whistles you expect from your standard mobile phone. On the Radio side, you have support for 3.5G HSDPA network along with 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type
Don't be fouled by the pretty look, check Nokia Support website before thinking of buying. The phone has BIG problems from fabrication and nothing from Nokia yet about fixing the problem. DON'T BUY IT!
Pros:
- The look
Cons:
- Shuts down or restarts by itself during calls
- Not compatible with OVI Maps

Review: Nokia X3. Music and Style on a Budget
Overview: Nokia's X3 is the baby brother of the X6, but that doesn't necessarily it has to live in the X6's shadow. If you're on the hunt for an affordable music handset that still packs the wow-factor, the X3 is a phone that might be right up your alley. Let's take a closer look at […]

Nokia X3-02 – Many Reasons to Buy One
When the X3-02 came to India, little did we know that Nokia would have a good feature phone to offer. The price looked attractive at first glance, but does it have something more to offer than the regular features that you can find in many mobile phones in that price bracket?

Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type Review
Having looked at several models from Nokia's Symbian^3 smartphone range over the past few months – including the range-topping Nokia N8 – today it's the turn of more basic fare from the company.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type mobile phone
Nokia may no longer be the leader in the high-end smartphone market, but the Finnish giant still leads the way in low priced, feature phones. Its latest is the X3 Touch and Type mobile phone, curiously combining a basic touchscreen with a regular numeric keypad; to surprisingly good effect.
Pros:
- Thin and light design
- Responsive touch screen
- Redesigned user interface
Cons:
- Awkward position of some keys
- Poor Web browser
- Limited apps
