Editor's Review of the X3-02 Touch and Type
Nokia claimed that their Touch and Type concept would be a revolution, and we're pleased to say we agree. This handset really does cater to everybody, even those of us who are hard to please. Good work, Nokia.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type mobile phone
Nokia may no longer be the leader in the high-end smartphone market, but the Finnish giant still leads the way in low priced, feature phones. Its latest is the X3 Touch and Type mobile phone, curiously combining a basic touchscreen with a regular numeric keypad; to surprisingly good effect.
Pros:
- Thin and light design
- Responsive touch screen
- Redesigned user interface
Cons:
- Awkward position of some keys
- Poor Web browser
- Limited apps

Nokia X3-02 Review
This is part of Nokia's Touch and Type series, in which the phone manufacturer has blended its well-loved candybar shape with a touch-screen and a standard keypad. The idea if to give users who haven't quite decided whether they want a true touchphone a choice of how they control their handset.
Pros:
- Neat, well priced handset with a good-looking design
- The combination of keypad and touch-screen offers an ergonomic system of operation
Cons:
- Lack of GPS and poor snapper results
- The display could be better

The Nokia X3 Touch and Type is an entry-level phone that offers both a keypad and a touchscreen display. It's compact, lightweight and perfect for those wanting a simple and affordable phone.
Pros:
- The Nokia X3 Touch and Type's touchscreen makes it easier than ever to navigate the phone's operating system
- Scrolling down through menus is a simple case of swiping a finger, and the same applies when browsing the web.
Cons:
- The 2.4-inch screen is a tad on the small side when you're trying to browse the web – even with touch support
- The resistive screen lacks the responsiveness of the latest capacitive panels, although its inclusion does promises to keep the price of the Nokia X3 Touch and Type as low as possible.
