Nokia N9 review
The Nokia N9 is a weird beast. It runs the MeeGo Harmattan OS and has been released after a so-called elopocalypse when Nokia's new CEO Stephen Elop controversially turned towards the Windows Phone platform, ditching both homegrown smartphone platforms – [...

Nokia N9 Review
The Nokia N9 was announced as being the first "pure-touch" smartphone without the need or presence of hardware/capacitive buttons on the front of the device in order to operate it.
Pros:
- + Sexy (and new) design

The N9 is a great phone. Even with a dead on launch hanging over its head, I would still rate its design, usability and functionality very highly. With such excellent hardware, a lot can be expected from future Nokia offerings.

Nokia N9 Review
So now we get to the big question: SHOULD YOU BUY A NOKIA N9? In all honesty it's difficult to give it a solid recommendation. Don't get me wrong though, the Nokia N9 is a great smartphone and it delivers well on both hardware and software.

Nokia N9. Part II
Nokia models are getting exceedingly disappointing due to their instability and reloads. In this first and last Meego solution the company broke new anti records. The phone reloads and the only suggestion is to wait for the new firmware, which is turning into a new type of sport.

With one of the nicest designs on any current smartphone, an operating system that's modern looking and easy to use, and one of the best cameras on the market, there's loads to like about the Nokia N9. Unfortunately, the fact Nokia isn't selling it here in the UK is a major disappointment.
Pros:
- The front of the Nokia N9 is absolutely dominated by the display, and it's one of the best panels currently featured on a smartphone
- Colour reproduction is absolutely amazing, with vivid hues and blacks that are completely black, helping the screen to blend into the surrounding edges.
Cons:
- The Nokia N9 has one big problem in most countries, and that's a lack of support
- This, in turn, leads to a lack of applications, and a lack of community
- Because the N9 is going on sale officially in relatively obscure locations, available in the UK and US only through retailers that have imported...

Nokia N9 in the Philippines
We've got the Nokia N9 in the house! :) thanks to Nokia for sending a black 64GB Nokia N9 unit. I'll do a review in the next few days on this Meego-powered device. Did it stand a chance against Windows Phone 7 had it not been pulled? We'll find out. Stay tuned.
