Nokia N86 8MP in-depth review -
Nokia tends to put out good, solid handsets. But with the N86, it has blown itself away and put out a damn near incredible camera phone. The first eight-megapixel snapper from the Finnish manufacturer isn't the all-in-one smartphone to topple you-know-what off its iThrone, but it is excellent at...
Pros:
- Great landscape
- portrait
- action and panorama shots
- Nokia Messaging
- Nokia Maps
Cons:
- Average macro shots
- a less intuitive UI than we?re used to from Nokia
- and you can?t share photos on most popular networking sites

Nokia N86 8MP
Smartphones may be the buzz word on people's lips right now, but from a photographer's perspective the cameras on them are infamously bad. Step up Nokia, which has brought a competitor to the marketplace capable of domination.

Nokia N86 8MP
For a company that proudly holds up its Nseries range of 'multimedia computers' as beacons of mobile innovation, it's hard to believe that Nokia has only just rolled out its first 8MP camera phone, the N86.

Nokia's late entry into 8 MP but worth a buy
I owned a Motorokr E6 touch screen phone and wanted to buy a camera phone which can take decent pictures. I eyed on the Sony Ericsson C902 (the phone James Bond uses in Quatum of Solace) which has got a 5 MP camera.

Nokia N86 8MP Review
Back in February, Nokia revealed its first 8-megapixel cameraphone – a basic update of the N85 (a phone we always rated as vastly superior to the N96).

Brilliant phone again from Nokia. Easy to use with excellent functions. Only downside would possibly be the design. Upgrading from a N95 so didn't feel like a proper change but worth it still for this phone does have better features so all in all PERFECT! :D.

Nokia's first phone with an 8-megapixel camera is a neat, effective smart phone. It's particularly good-looking in white with its matt back, but there's a black version if you prefer. The phone is quick and responsive and it's nice to see a 3.5mm headphone jack.
