A perfect sized smartphone with an excellent design but a little too expensive
Nokia seems intent on selling a Lumia Windows Phone at every possible price point and its latest mid-range device is the Lumia 720. We love the stylish design, the good battery life and the low light camera performance.
Pros:
- Excellent size and design
- Good battery life
- Low light camera performance
Cons:
- 512MB of RAM is restrictive
- Slippery
- glossy surface
- A little expensive

Nokia Lumia 720
Being the middle child is always difficult, so in that respect the Nokia Lumia 720 has it tough as it nestles slap bang in the centre of the Finnish firm's Windows Phone 8 range.
Pros:
- Slick OS
- Good camera
- Attractive design
- Great battery life
Cons:
- Average screen
- Keyboard not great
- No removable battery

Nokia Lumia 720 review
There's a lot to like about the Nokia Lumia 720. As a device, the design is fantastic and the build quality is great. It might not be the slimmest, or boast the greatest specs, but it is a nice comfortable phone to use day-to-day.
Pros:
- Great design and build quality
- feels great in the hand
- plenty of software additions from Nokia
- good camera performance
Cons:
- Feels a little sluggish
- not a huge step-up over the cheaper Lumia 620

Nokia Lumia 720 review
A lovely mid-range Windows Phone 8 handset, but we don't think it offers enough over the cheaper Lumia 620

The Nokia Lumia 720 isn't just a beautiful Windows Phone, it's beautiful smartphone. If you're not after a bleeding edge, super-specced device, and can put up with Windows Phone's lacklustre app selection, you'll love its bright colours and ease of use.

Review: Nokia Lumia 720
Not just apps, there had been a void in terms of handset options for those willing to switch to the WP8 platform. Therefore, Nokia wants to make sure that there's a Lumia in most of the price segments. The Lumia 720 bridges the gap between their 820 and the budget-friendly Lumia 620 .
Pros:
- Elegant design
- Sturdy Build
- Impressive low-light photography
- Sleek and fluid UI
- Offline voice-guided Sat Nav
- Rich social networking experience
- Great sound quality
- Good battery life
Cons:
- Lacks FM radio
- Not many games available
- Some games not compatible due to low RAM

The Lumia 720 is a mid-range Windows Phone 8 handset - bigger and better built than the cheaper Lumia 620 and Lumia 520 phones, but a lot less expensive than the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 Windows phones it most resembles.

- Good camera
Cons:

Nokia Lumia 720
At first glance, the Nokia Lumia 720 looks like it just might be the perfect Windows Phone handset, the ace in Nokia's deck that would enable it to drive home how immensely confident it is in Microsoft's mobile phone operating system.
Pros:
- Looks amazing
- Premium build quality
- Good camera
- Fluid touch interface
- Display has good viewing angles
Cons:
- Just 512MB of RAM
- Low resolution display
- App store compares unfavourably with iOS and Android
