Nokia E71x
It's always been a shame that Nokia's E series of smartphones (as well as the Nokia N series for that matter) rarely make it to U.S. carriers since they offer great business features in slick designs.
Pros:
- The Nokia E71x is affordably priced and offers a long list of features, including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.2-megapixel camera, as well as support for AT&T's various services
- The QWERTY smartphone is very sleek with high-quality construction
Cons:
- The GPS initially took a while to find our location
- The keyboard layout is somewhat cramped

Nokia E71 review: Nokia E71
Mobile professionals who need a powerful but sleek messaging-centric smartphone will be well-served by the Nokia E71; just be prepared to pay a price. It may be that the Nokia E series sometimes suffers from Jan Brady syndrome, as it gets overshadowed by a flashier member of its family--the Nokia N series (aka Marcia Brady). But the E series is just as bright and deserves some recognition too. Traditionally, the E series devices have been very corporate-centric and serious in design, but now Nokia is updating the line with the introduction of the Nokia E66 and Nokia E71, bringing with them a modernized look and a fresh set of features.
Pros:
- The Nokia E71 features a slim design, while still managing to have a full QWERTY keyboard
- The Symbian smartphone is stocked with features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and U.S
- 3G support
- Voice, messaging, and productivity tools are also strong.
Cons:
- The E71 is expensive, and the display is on the smaller side
- The keyboard is a bit cramped as well.

Nokia E71
Nokia has both slimmed down and pimped up its flagship email phone with the E71. HSDPA connections, vastly improved performance, good battery life and extras such as Assisted GPS navigation, built-in VoIP, remote wipe and hardware encryption for both the device and the memory card, makes for a...

Nokia E71: A hands-on review for SA customers
The blogosphere often comes under criticism (and usually, rightly so) for knee-jerk journalism. Don't research the facts - just the get the scoop and get something up. In comes the traffic and some poor sod usually clicks on the Google Ads.

BlackBerry beware: there's a new business/pleasure mobile in town and its gunning for your pin-striped crown.
Pros:
- Nokia's answer to the BlackBerry, the E71 struts its telephonic stuff in the boardroom with a full-blown QWERTY keyboard
- It's no chunker, though
- In fact its 10mm profile makes the BlackBerry flock look like a family of porkers
- We found the QWERTY's thumbability (new word alert!
Cons:
- Our only quibble with the E71 is to do with its looks
- They're more bland than spam
- That's it.

Nokia E71
Easy to use, and looks and feels great. Prefer it to the N95 because it has qwerty keyboard and the battery life is superb. Nice landscape view. Better tuning on the FM radio with regional pre-tuned stations. Full mini office suite and up-todate-technology.

Nokia E71x
When we reviewed the unlocked GSM Nokia E71 NAM 9 months ago, we loved it, as did most reviewers. For an unlocked phone it was reasonably priced, had drop-dead good looks, a metal casing, plenty of features and the stability of Symbian with S60.
Pros:
- Sleek metal casing
- tons of features for the price
Cons:
- Push email experience can't compete with the BlackBerry
