All in all good business phone at affordable prices - good for a Startup

I got my Nokia E 71 a few month's back from India when on a holiday and sufficient time has passed to give an honest opinion on my experiences using it. Initally when I landed in India, I did not want to replace my oldish Nokia (some number I do not remember) but as luck would have it the battery...

Review: Nokia E71x Smartphone

Last year we reviewed the Nokia E71 , a phone that came straight outta Finland unlocked, with a powerful array of business and multimedia features. It was balanced, it was beautiful and it worked perfectly.
Pros:
  • Fantastic industrial design
  • Hashing out e-mails (or tweets) on smartly appointed QWERTY is a typo-free affair
  • Gorgeous screen completely readable in direct sunshine
  • Battery life holds up to four days of calls, e-mails and web surfing.
Cons:
  • Seriously, AT&T, did you have to drop the toggle button? Still no N-Gage gaming platform available
  • 3.2 MP pics skew a touch towards the noisy end of the spectrum

Nokia E71

T he time a business mobile phone was simple and boring is in the past. Business and private are being united. The genuine corporate mobile companies such as the BlackBerry creators, aim more and more at the private user, whilst Samsung and Nokia in turn serve the business user Business cell phones...

Battery life

The product I bought fome times back has the worst battery life. I have changed the battery 2 times in 7 months and spent so much. I called up the center 2 times but they did not give any definitive answer. I will never recommend Nokia E71 to anyone

Nokia E71x

It's always been a shame that Nokia's E series of smartphones (as well as the Nokia N series for that matter) rarely make it to U.S. carriers since they offer great business features in slick designs.
Pros:
  • The Nokia E71x is affordably priced and offers a long list of features, including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.2-megapixel camera, as well as support for AT&T's various services
  • The QWERTY smartphone is very sleek with high-quality construction
Cons:
  • The GPS initially took a while to find our location
  • The keyboard layout is somewhat cramped

Nokia E71 review: Nokia E71

Mobile professionals who need a powerful but sleek messaging-centric smartphone will be well-served by the Nokia E71; just be prepared to pay a price. It may be that the Nokia E series sometimes suffers from Jan Brady syndrome, as it gets overshadowed by a flashier member of its family--the Nokia N series (aka Marcia Brady). But the E series is just as bright and deserves some recognition too. Traditionally, the E series devices have been very corporate-centric and serious in design, but now Nokia is updating the line with the introduction of the Nokia E66 and Nokia E71, bringing with them a modernized look and a fresh set of features.
Pros:
  • The Nokia E71 features a slim design, while still managing to have a full QWERTY keyboard
  • The Symbian smartphone is stocked with features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and U.S
  • 3G support
  • Voice, messaging, and productivity tools are also strong.
Cons:
  • The E71 is expensive, and the display is on the smaller side
  • The keyboard is a bit cramped as well.
