Nokia E71
The BlackBerry 8820 has been one of the best slab-style QWERTY smartphones for so long now, it's hard to imagine anything overtaking it. Its combination of ease of use, long battery life and excellent keyboard contributed to a maximum score of 10 out of 10 when we first looked at it last August, and...
Pros:
- Impressive battery life
- Slim build
- Outstanding screen quality
Cons:
- No BlackBerry Connect support
- Can't charge over USB
- Few small buttons

Nokia E71 review
Nokia's E71 has achieved something none of the other phones in this group managed: it includes a useable keyboard but is still very slim. In fact, it's the skinniest handset here at just 10mm thick. It's still quite wide, but you're unlikely to notice this when you slide it into your pocket.

I have really enjoyed this phone. The small size is extremly handy, fits in a pocket , purse and with case can be attached to belt. I use this phone as a security device while walking. When purchasing this phone , I dealt with AT&T by dialin 1-800-imagine.
Pros:
- compact no external antena
Cons:
- The call timer is not visible

Marvellous
Having suffered with a number of Windows Mobile devices over the last year or so (and having had the temporary respite of the Blackberry Curve), I am delighted with the E71. The integration with Exchange (both mail, contacts etc, and the company directory) is very good; the rest of the phone is very...

Access to product upgrades are one of the perks of being in the tech industry. If you've come across a great product, you can't wait to see what the company's going to come up with next.

Superb Smartphone!
This phone has finally converted me to QWERTY keyboards. The keyboard is quite amazing for the phone's size. The form factor may be a little thin for those with chunkier hands but otherwise it's a very sexy device - not an adjective I'd normally associate with Nokia phones. My only wish is for a slightly grippier surface on the back of the phone. Overall an excellent smartphone geared more towards business use but quite usable as a media player. The OS is responsive and stable. There's plenty of community support on the Web and apps are readily available.

Nokia E71 in-depth review -
As with all the best phones, there's loads more to say about the Nokia E71 that we don't have space for here. You get a great web-browsing experience with HSDPA data speeds, there's a great driving game pre-loaded, and there's loads of extras like Push-To-Talk, instant messaging and internet...
Pros:
- The E71 is packed with all conceivable features
- performs beautifully and is a dream to use
Cons:
- The QWERTY keypad keys are on the small side
