The 2018 version of the Nokia 6 is also called Nokia 6.1. It steps up impressively with several key improvements on its predecessor.
Power And Performance
One of the biggest enhancements in the Nokia 6 of 2018 is its overall power and performance, thanks to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and 4 GB of RAM. In fact, Nokia suggest the performance of the new Nokia 6 is 60% better than the original version!
Much of the Nokia 6's superior performance is directly connected to its streamlined software; Android One is a Google-designed software system that is streamlined to give you what you need, and not the stuff you don't.
A Cooler Camera
Not surprisingly, the camera on the Nokia 6 has also jumped ahead in leaps and bounds. Nokia has teamed with world-famous Zeiss optics to lift its camera to new heights: the 16 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera and 4K video recording are sharper and more vivid as a result.
Take A Bothie
Every smartphone camera seems to have novelty feature that sets it apart from others, and in the case of the 2018 Nokia 6 it's Dual-Sight mode which captures the action from both in front AND behind the camera as a photo is taken. The results can be hilarious and easily shared onto platforms like Facebook.
The Nokia 6 is not just delivering quality visuals. The sound is great too. Nokia's spatial audio records sound with two microphones so the footage you're capturing is accompanied by hi-fi audio as well.
A newer model Nokia 6.2 was released in September 2019.
