NintendoLand

There has been a lot of excitement concerning the Wii U here at Family Friendly Gaming. There has also been a lot of curiosity concerning NintendoLand. On paper this launch Wii U title sounds pretty arrogant. Nintendo wants their very own theme park.

Rabbids Land

The lovably grotesque Rabbids delve into tabletop territory in their latest misadventure. In a new twist, Rabbids Land frames its funky flavored mini-games within the confines of a traditional board game, aiming for a vibe that blends the feel of recent Mario Party outings with the look of a Trivial...

Nintendo Land

This ain't no Wii Sports.

Metroid Blast; Metroid Blast; And did I mention Metroid Blast

Nothing overly original; doesn't do as good of a job of showcasing the Wii U's power as it could have

Nintendo Land review (WIIU)

When Wii launched way back in 2006, it did so with Wii Sports by its side. Whatever you might have thought about that game, your relatives probably liked it. They were most likely drawn to the easy controls, which simulated the motions that are required when actually playing golf, boxing or bowling.

Nintendo Land comes complete with the Wii U console, taking place within a carnival-style atmosphere which is a bit like being back in the Wii U main menu's MiiVerse, as other users appear before you and can be invited to take part in the mini-games within.

Fun for a bit.

Really fun game with very creative mini games. I don't have the Wii Motion Plus adapter so a couple of the games I couldn't play. I don't regret buying it though. It's a lot of fun to come back to now and again but not something you'll waste all day on.

Nintendo Land: review

We have Pac-Man clones. We have a simplified FPS adventure experience. We have arena based third person shooters. We have a dumbed down 3D racing game. Alongside these are some nice, non-offensive games which would be fine on a tablet, but with the dual screen gimmick thrown in as a way to reach out...

Nintendo Land Wii U

AVForums Home Gaming Hub > Video Gaming > Reviews > Hop To Conclusion The Rundown X Close Tweet Party games meet tablet controllers by Mark Botwright...

Multiplayer madness; Good demo material for the tech; Bite-sized attractions; Novelty factor

Solo player offerings a tad uninspired; No online multiplayer games; Novelty factor soon wears off

Bwaaaaaaaaaaa...cough...cough...cough...

Rabbids Land had the chance to really be the first go-to party game on the Wii U. Sadly, Ubisoft doesn't deliver a worthwhile experience, and the Rabbids brand, such as it is, suffers as a result.

There is no raving about these Rabbids.
