But if you consider the New 3DS's price from a broader perspective, taking into consideration the price of other games consoles, it does seem a bit pricey. You can buy the Sony PS Vita (2014 edition) for around £150, and even the Nintendo Wii U for £160.
I'm in love with my New Nintendo 3DS XL, and no, that's isn't some PR quip. I genuinely love this device, but it doesn't exactly re-imagine the handheld genre. It did do something that not too many devices seem to do though - fill me with absolute glee.
Unless Nintendo has another revision up its sleeve, the New Nintendo 3DS XL is the definitive version of the company's long-running handheld console. The system's improved controls and extra-stable 3D display make playing 3DS games more enjoyable than ever, and its beefed-up processor makes it...
Handy new controls; Stable 3D display; Faster loading speeds; Supports amiibo toys
Screwed-in microSD slot; No charger included
I've been playing on Nintendo handhelds for a long time. With the ubiquity of smartphones and the proliferation of free apps, younger gamers might not realize that back in the 90s, dedicated portable game consoles were a big deal.

Most of this review is based on the New 3DS when compared to the Old 3DS. I purchased this as I thought it would be an upgrade from my old 3DS, but I was wrong. First item is the size; The new 3DS, in my opinion, is too large for a handheld.
1; Lots of buttons 2; Buttons have a nice 'click' to them 3; Seems Durable
1; Too large for a handheld 2; Need tool to change Micro SD card 3; No WiFi switch 4; No performance change 5; No charger 6; Lack the ability to trasfer to older 3DS 7; Button placement
the charger not working
I bought this for my Granddaughter for her birthday. She loves it! Takes it with her everywhere. I would have gotten one sooner if I had known how happy it makes her. It is portable and she can use it almost anyplace. It was a great addition to long car rides, and a plane trip.
Challenging; Easy to learn; Fun To Play; Good Audio; Graphics; Kid Appropriate
