My grandmother always wore L'air du Temps, and when we were kids, my sisters and I were on a waiting list to get the emptied bottles :) Doing a little research on eBay, I realized, based on the bottles I remembered, that she used both the parfum and the toilette.

I love using this product, but after I put it on it only lasts for a very short time. I use to put it on in the morning and it would still smell nice at night, however, I think they have changed something and it doesn't last very long.

I ordered this and the talc powder , I was not too happy with either one . I have used this product for 40 years but this particular order did not have the fragrance I am used to ..seemed very light and did not stay on long . Could there be a expiry date or a bad batch ?

There was a time when I was a great admirer of L'air du Temps by Nina Ricci, it was way back when my youthful perfume tastes were easily led by anything and everything that was in vogue. This fragrance was worn by many a confident young lady at the time and I wanted to join in and wear it too.

My wife has used this scent for years and loves it. I didn't know she was out of it, so ordered it for our anniversary....she was thrilled. Have the lotion on order, also.

I used this perfume years ago. It has the same strong carnation top note. Even as the fragrance "wears", no other second or bottom notes come through - at least not on me. I now just use the soap, lotion and powder to calm down and lighten the effect or just the EDT - not all of them together.

I love the scent of L 'Air du Temps Eau de Toilette by Nina Ricci. I have been wearing this scent off and on again since I was about eighteen years old. Although since then I have bought many other perfumes, colognes, and body mists, I do enjoy this scent.

This remains my all time favorite scent (the only one I've been able to wear without incurring a severe headache) and it is my trademark scent.
