I purchased this like the last customer to add to my standard 18 -55mm Lens, its on special at the moment, just been away and wow! for the price this is the lens to have , got close up shots with quality, I was looking for a zoom lens at a good price , well this is the one , you wont regret this...

With the VR alone, it distances itself from other zoom lenses of the same specs.

i absolutely love my lens I've been wanting one for ages and finally got one and cant remember how i ever went without it :) love it!

I bought this lens recently and have used it for a few months and it's a reasonably good lens, really good for being a kit lens. It is pretty sharp, although it has some pin cushion/barrel distortion, albeit very minimal. No vignetting to speak of even with the lens hood attached.

So far this is a great lens,nice and sharp. I had been shooting with a 55-200 and just needed that extra length. The VR works well at lower shutter speeds. I'm glad I got this lens.

I bought this Nikon zoom lens for my Nikon D5300 a few weeks ago, after exhaustive online research on general and bird photographer web sites. I am a watercolour artist and want to capture Australian native bird shots as reference for my art.

Look for over a year and saved money for a longtime before I pulled the trigger and bought this as one of my lens. Happy I have it, have a UV filter to protect lens and loving the lens.

The lens is great for using at sports events and for taking macro pictures. It takes amazing focused pictures as well. The only thing bad about this lens is that it is very hard to focus.

have been using the 55-300 along with my standard 18-55mm Nikkor, and must say its a very good combo. I have used it for some wildlife photography and the results are definitely more than satisfactory. Its an awesome lens and there is no 2nd thoughts about it. The VR too is a must have, as per me.

I bought a month ago.. its more than amazing...
