Almost all portraits from http://3foto.ro are made with 55-300mm on D7000. Tele lens means no distortion and blur background.

It's worth the extra cash to get the 300
If you are in te market for a larger lense the 55-300 is the way to go. Do not waste your time or money on the 55-200, spend the extra cash and get some serious distance photos with the 300.
