Good but not very fast. But picture quality was great.

i would buy this product again and again
The lens is great for using at sports events and for taking macro pictures. It takes amazing focused pictures as well. The only thing bad about this lens is that it is very hard to focus.

At the 55mm end of the zoom range, the angle of view is 28° 50', which is a little bit tighter than that of an 80mm lens on a 35mm body.

A Worthwhile Investment
I bought the 55-300mm zoom over the 55-200mm zoom for the times I may want to use it for sporting events and large outdoor events. It was a great decision, putting me even closer to my subject. For the very same reason this is a great lens for my photojournalism needs.

I purchased this like the last customer to add to my standard 18 -55mm Lens, its on special at the moment, just been away and wow! for the price this is the lens to have , got close up shots with quality, I was looking for a zoom lens at a good price , well this is the one , you wont regret this...

Good lens for outdoors.
I use this lens on my D5100 and works well for getting up-close pictures of... nature. Have not used it for any sports or action shots yet.

- Has auto-focus and VR

- Can't think of anything..

GOOD DEAL, you won't match or beat this anywhere - I searched.
Pretty good lens, all in all - great package. Came with a cleaning materials and a tripod. The tripod is flimsy and not worth $20 however it was FREE. SO at least I can gift it to a friend.
