Took my new 55-300mm Nikkor lens out for a test spin recently, and I have to say that I love it. Compared to my older Sigma 18-200mm lens, this one produces a much more crisp image (i.e. little to no chromatic aberration) requiring far less processing in Photoshop to clean everything up.

Impressive zoom lens
Great addition to the 18-55 kit lens. Takes pictures at medium range with impressive clarity, color and speed. Ideal for wildlife, bird photography or sports events.

Great lens!
Works really well. Love the build quality and it take good shar pictures. Stabilisation is good as well. The autofocus is snappy for photos but for filming it's a bit slow and a bit loud (sound)

- I find the lens easy to use and the quality of the photos are very good

Broken Hood lock
Delivered Lens Hood with broken lock. See attached image. Lens are in good condition. Only issue is with lens Hood. If possible replace the item.

Reasonably good lens.
I bought this lens recently and have used it for a few months and it's a reasonably good lens, really good for being a kit lens. It is pretty sharp, although it has some pin cushion/barrel distortion, albeit very minimal. No vignetting to speak of even with the lens hood attached.

Great Lens , Great Price
I purchased this lens for a trip to the Pacific Northwest coast where I was hoping to capture some of the wild life, Sea Lions, Whales, Seals & Elk. Mission accomplished. The 300 zoom was just enough to get some great shots.

This is real value for money. AF works wonderfully. This comes with a lens pouch and a lens hood. Made in China but the Nikon quality is maintained. Highly recommended.

Excellent Nikon DX 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S Telephoto Lens
I purchased this item as I wanted a telephoto lens that goes beyond the standard 200mm. The quality is excellent, and the quality of photos is excellent to.
