Super Lens, Great Value
As a nature photographer, this lens is a 'must have for my bag. It is one of the lightest lenses you will find, anywhere (270g), it is extremely sharp, and (best of all) you can buy a Nikon BR-2A adapter+ a BR-5, flip the lens around, and use it for super-macro photography (3.4x), giving you...

This is my first super wide fix focal length lens. In the short time that I have had it, it has produced stunning results. The image comes through crisp and clear. The colors are outstanding. I brought this lens with me to photograph Italy, and all I can say is, wow.
Pros:
- * Crisp clear results
- * Colors are great
- * Little to no image distortion
Cons:
- * No lens hood

If you like to take landscape or nature photographs, try this lens for shaping cloud, rocks, land or even tree or bridge. Just be prepared to get facsinating shape of your subject. It's wide but not too wide to ruin the original shape of the subject.

Nikon 20mm f/2.8D AF
I used this lens for my new d700. It is really wide for my landscape and architecture shots that I don't need to carry my heavy 17-35 2.8. It is also very useful for my wedding low-light indoors shots in church and restaurant.
Pros:
- Fast
- Sharp even at wide open
- No distortion
- Compact and Light
Cons:
- None

Nikon 20mm 2.8D AF lens
This is a lightweight landscape lens that gives great depth of field results. Colors pop and sharpness from forground to background is great with this lens. Also excellent for architectural photography. Guard against lens flare and get compatible Nikon lens hood.

Sharpness of a prime lens with the convenience of a zoom + light weight!
I bought the Nikkor 20-35mm last year on ebay because I needed an "event" lens as I like to say. I was hired to shoot some special events and a wedding too and all I had for a pro lens was a Nikkor 50mm 1.4....a great, great lens, but really difficult to shoot an entire event with.

Bought this a few weeks ago to take with me to Disney World. Was a great choice over all. I have many lenses at my disposal to use. 16mm fisheye, 20mm 2.8, 50mm 1.4, 28-70mm 2.8, 70-200mm vrii 2.8 and a D3S. With only a few exceptions, I used the 20mm2.8 most of the time.
