Fantastic camera

I upgraded from a d40, and the difference is HUGE! This camera will last me a long, long time. Paired with a 35mm prime or UWA this is so much fun to use! While the d40 is good, it also felt a bit like a toy, while this camera feels like it means business! All in all a very worthwhile upgrade.

"Nikon D90 up to the challenge"

Having purchase the nikon D90 as my first DSLR, I can only say WOW. I have been confidently using my high end compact camera's for years, with fantastic results. But, the picture quality I now get, is slowly and surely putting all my previous photography to shame.
Pros:
  • Easy to use
  • Built to last
  • Fantastic Images
Cons:
  • Makes you wonder what the higher end models do

Like my D90 much. But can feel the support from Nikon is not 100%. Plus + Very good pictures + Nikon objectiv compatibility + Good design + Good Performance + Good LCD + Fairly menu structure Minus - Lack of autofocus in movie mode - Usually suffers more stucco / hotpixels than competitor - Nikon...

Nikon d90

Cons:

Pretty good camera but is a little clunky and not too easy to hold in the hand. Takes great photos but heavy in the hand.

Greatest Show on Earth

I used Canon for over 30 years, but when I saw the price I had to have it. I never thought I would get such quality for this price. This camera is amazing! I wished I had started out on Nikon back then. I'm looking forward in buying the new D7000 in the near future.
Cons:
  • None

Great all-round DSLR for semi-professional photographers.

I've had my Nikon D90 for several years and have not been able to fault it. As a Nikon, it is typically heavier than other comparable brand DSLRs, but some (including me) actually like that about the Nikon - it feels more robust and durable.
