Nikon D90: Camera Test
It would seem logical for the first DSLR with video capture to come from a company that also makes camcorders. Nikon defied that logic, though, by creating the D90 ($1,000, estimated street, body only; $1,300 with AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens).
A nice step up!
This camera was a step up from the D60 and I can see the difference between the two. The D90 is a great camera for what I want to use it for. I do photo shoots for family and friends and with the D90 I can see the difference in the quality of the prints.
The Nikon D90 became something of a pioneer in the digital SLR camera world when it made its debut in 2008. This DSLR camera was the first on the market with the ability to record videos, with recording capabilities of 720p high-definition video and monaural sound.
- The continuous shooting speed is 4.3 frames per second
