The D90, inherits the excellent, crisp 3-inch LCD from the prosumer-level Nikon D300, it adds a new CMOS sensor, and it pumps up the resolution to 12.3 megapixels (from 10.2 megapixels on the D80).

Ive had this camera for a while now and its the best purchase ive made, takes lovely photo's hardly any noise upto 1600 iso, it took a little bit of learning but i got there in the end, i only shoot in manual mode or aperture priority, if your new to DSLR cameras you can get this now for about ￡300...- easy to use and master

This 12 megapixel DSLR takes two features of the D300 - the CMOS image sensor and the 75mm high resolution LCD screen - and fits them into what is, in effect, the D80 body. Naturally there is live view and, the big surprise, there is movie mode, a first for DSLRs.- The low light capabilities of this camera are similar to the D300, which means ISO1600 is the new ISO400
- The image quality at high ISO settings is breathtaking with very little noise evident in even the trickiest bits of open shadow.
