"Your camera takes good pictures"

Your camera takes good pictures goes the joke. It is no joke with the D7500. I have used the Coolpx P900 for ~two years. I have never used a DSLR. The D7500 is my first. The pix with this review were taken on the first two days I owned it. These pix were shot on shutter preferred and manual.

Nikon D7500

The Nikon D7500 is a DSLR designed for enthusiast photographers. With a 20.9-megapixel DX format sensor and 8fps shooting, it sits between the D5600 and the in Nikon's range, and costs around £1300 for the body only.

Excellent control layout and handling; Great image quality up to very high ISO settings; Excellent autofocus using the viewfinder; Tilting screen a big improvement on previous D7000-series models

Slow Live View autofocus; SnapBridge connectivity lacking in features; Only a single SD card slot; where previous D7000-series models had two

Nikon D7500 review: Better than the Canon 80D?

The Nikon D7500 evolves from its conventional DSLR heritage towards a more rounded user experience. This enthusiast-level DSLR packs a mighty tilt-touchscreen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus 4K video capture into its body. Oh how the times are a-changin'.

Features inherited from the class-leading Nikon D500; large and vibrant tilt LCD touchscreen; excellent build quality and handling; pin-sharp images; overall low-light performance

Single UHS I SD memory card slot; 4K video crop mode not ideal for wide-angle recording; AF in live view not up to scratch; no Ai indexing tab limits compatibility with Nikon's manual focus lenses; additional vertical grip not possible

Nikon D7500

The D7500 is Nikon's latest enthusiast level DSLR. It features the same 20.9 megapixel APS-C sized sensor as found in the top-of-the-line D500, making it a good alternative for those who are tempted by the more expensive camera but don't quite have the budget available.

Nikon is currently celebrating its 100th year in the photographic industry, and its extremely impressive resume includes both the first professional SLR to feature autofocus (1988's Nikon F4) and the first SLR camera to record video (the D90, released in 2008).

Amazing camera!

My husband bought me this to help me get started in the world of photography and the quality is amazing, even on auto whilst I'm learning about adjusting the iso, aperture and shutter speed! Very nice layout, easy to use and has some great features!!

Pros: - The product is very good - easy to use, - nice photos at high Iso (up to 10.000) - much better video quality than my old D7100 Cons: - most important it had no EU warranty slip (card) - the box...
